Abstract

There have been many reports highlighting the Delay in receipt of Forensic Viscera Analysis reports from Forensic Science Laboratories. This study had been conducted to determine the accuracy of such reports. In our research we found that there is an actual delay in receiving reports from FSL. Even after 7 years, reports of more than 49% of Viscera sent for analysis had not been received. We further recommend certain changes to overcome this impediment in administration of justice.
