Hair analysis may determine a person's long-term drug history as well as a single exposure to a substance, which is particularly useful for correlating instances of drug-facilitated crimes. The mechanisms of drug and metabolite entrance into hair remain unclear, despite the fact that it is a source of forensic evidence that may be utilized in a court of law. A calendar of a person's past drug use can also be produced through hair analysis.
The current study uses SEM-EDX to examine the hair of hukka users in order to determine the components in the hair. Elements analysis frequently makes use of SEM-EDX. The elemental distribution can be pinpointed and connected to the SEM image by scanning the electron beam across the sample surface and detecting the generated X-rays from every pixel. It is a more delicate method of analysis to reduce contaminating issues.
The examinations outcome and analysis have shown the proportion of elements present in the sample hair.
In any circumstance where a history of past rather than recent drug usage is sought, this research will assist in supplying information on exposure to drugs throughout time. Hair analysis may be helpful in validating self-reported histories of drug use.
The objective of present study is to estimate and compare the concentration of drugs in the root bulb and shaft of hair among hukka users followed by estimation of drug in different types of hair of an individual of hookah user.
