In Indian forensic laboratories the pending case numbers are colossal due to which less manpower and more computational and statistically effective techniques are very much required. The use of image processing software in the examination of questioned documents is needed in the present scenario of advancements in the field of questioned document examination. The present study aims to highlight the use and need for a user-friendly image processing software that is Digimizer. Digimizer Image analysis software proves to be potentially effective and useful in the examination of handwriting written in Devanagari Script.
