Every individual has their own style of doing things in a certain manner. Style is the personal choices that a person makes while speaking, writing, or communicating. Style of eating, moving, speaking or writing, it is basically a routine of a person which are more or less similar but varies greatly person to person that how one starts and finish. Style is a variable element that varies from time to time. To identify the person's style in writing or spoken language, stylistics have played a significant role. Stylistics is the study of idiosyncratic characteristics in the written or spoken context of an individual. Idiosyncratic is the individual characteristics by means of using the choice of words and elements of writing style and its arrangements and pattern on the writing surface. Analyses of style markers in writing are accomplished by Forensic stylistics. Stylistics concepts have been used as the evidence in the court since it associates an individual's style markers of linguistics with the purposefulness of determining legal queries connecting disputed derivation. Perse, this paper presents a review on the role of forensic stylistics in identifying the idiosyncratic style markers of a person in the written material. Future key points for further research and suggestions have been discussed in this paper. It will also help in emphasizing how much forensic stylistics could help for authorship identification and also profiling.
