Pyrethroids are used for agricultural purposes to prevent insect manifestation in a variety of crops. Despite their advantages, their leftovers can pollute food grains. The study focuses on the analysis of 8 different types of food grains to detect the presence of Bifenthrin and Cypermethrin. The samples were treated with a QuEChERS method for multiresidue pesticide analysis, and then Gas chromatographymass spectrometry (GCMSMS). The highest concentration detected for bifenthrin was 30.8431 ng/ml in Moong dal (split) (Vigna radiate) while cypermethrin was 4.4509 ng/ ml in Chana Dal (Cicer arietinum). A deeper comprehension of the negative consequences is essential for determining how these insecticides will be applied in the future.
