Abstract

Drugs are abused since a long time. It is a threat which prevails in the darker part of our society. However, with the prevalence of strict laws related to drugs, the manufacturers and drug abusers come up with new variants of the already available drugs. The increase in the manufacture and abuse of such drugs accounts to an improvement in the testing and examination of drugs. Drug abuse leads to dependence and addiction. It also affects the proper functioning of brain. The attention and memory of a drug abuser is more likely to get deteriorated. Damage to the brain cells along with a lower rate of breathing is also a common sign among drug abusers. Synthetic drugs and their modified designer drugs are manufactured in clandestine laboratories in an illegal manner. The major objective is to escape the stringent laws and examination for their identification as drugs.
