To Evaluation the health lifestyle of Kindergarten Students in Iraq.
Data from all survey waves, which were taken when the kids were roughly 3 years old, 4 years old, and 5 years old, were used in this study. In-person interviews were conducted with the primary caretaker, who was usually always the biological parent. An approach called multistage cluster sampling was used to gather the sample. The Nineveh Directorate of Education provided the information for the time frame of February 1 to February 25, 2023. The sample size was made up of a total of students (420). The NHLBI 2012, Simpkin et al. 2014 questionnaire was utilized, with certain lines amended. the child’s demographic data in its first half, and its health and lifestyle indicators in its second.
According to this study’s findings, females (66.9%) and male children (33.1%) made up the majority of the samples. The sample’s average age was (4.2) and its standard deviation was (1.73), with the majority of the sample’s ages falling between 3 and 5 years old). Twelve schools were included in the study sample, six of which were public and the other was private. The majority of the pupils had an average economic situation, with an average of (52.62%).
This study came to the conclusion that early childhood cognition, behavior, and health are all predicted by children’s healthy lifestyles. Hence, policy changes to promote healthy lifestyles in young children may be beneficial in the short term.
