A total of 90 deaths caused by sharp force injuries were studied during period of 1996 to 1998. The cuts and stab injuries on the body were used as variables to divide it into two groups. The data were analysed according to age and sex and victims, multiplicity of wounds, the site of body inflicted, place from where body found, incidence of defense wounds, associated with other injuries etc. and compared with other similar studies.
