Abstract

31 post mortem cases of homicidal thoracoabdominal penetrating wound selected and studied at G.M.C Nagpur between 2000 to 2001. Males were 90.32% while female were 9.6% Age group 21–30 years has 64% of case which is very susceptible group. Stab injury to chest found in 51.6% whereas only abdomen 6.4% of cases and Thoracoabdominal combined 41.9% victims. Lung, heart, liver are commonly punctured. Victims died on spot immediately and there is minor seasonal variation.
