Work planning in forensic medicine and toxicology

An attempt has been made to lay areas to develop the department of Forensic Medicine. The common encountered problems are enlisted so that some solution can remain in mind, if it occurs and there after some solution or plan is worked out. These guidelines will help resolve the problems as and when they occur. The list is prepared without any prejudice towards any person or department. The basic aim is to improve the standard of the department with the existing facilities. It is a plan to bring more expansion and work and cannot blindly be applied to all departments as their facilities; staff, finance, working pattern and local requirements may be different. It has become more essential to make existing procedure more skilled rather than pointing out shortcomings which is not going to serve any purpose. The areas are divided into academic, service delivery system, research, and administrative working.
