Caring for injured person is one of the most important duty of a human being and to get it implemented Supreme Court had framed few guidelines providing the legal immunity to the victims of the accident by specifying the duties of the hospital/doctor regarding medical care as well as driver of the vehicle involved in an acciclent. The paper highlights various duties and responsibilities by doctor as well as driver arising out in such cases. Various remedies available to a patient/relative from various agencies is also being discussed.
