The medical officers working in the emergency department has to examine various kinds of medicalegal cases with injuries. Many are ignorant of the legal outcome of their Medicolegal report. This paper highlights all the legal issues related lo injury so that the medical doctor can give proper reporting and opinion in respect to injury.
