Any case of injury treated in the casualty is a potential medico legal issue. Many a times sufficient care is not taken for detail examination during the medico legal management of injury cases in hospitals, major stress being rightly given for therapeutic management. The casualty medico legal officers thus invite adverse remarks from various quarters for obvious unintentional omissions in fulfilling basic medico legal formalities.
