Administration of medicine is one of the greatest responsibilities of a nurse. The staff nurses have less knowledge about the administration of paediatric medications. Present study is aimed to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme regarding administration of paediatric medications among staff nurses in selected hospitals at Mahabubnagar, Telangana. 30 samples were selected using convenient sampling technique. The findings revealed that In regards to knowledge of staff nurses. 22 (73.3%) were under below average knowledge level in pretest whereas in post test were found nil, 8 (26.7%) were under average knowledge level in pretest whereas 9 (30%) were average knowledge level in post test, above average knowledge level in pre test were found nil. whereas 21 (70%) were under above average knowledge level in post test. These differences indicate the structured teaching programe was highly affected in staff nurses hence H1 was accepted.
