Students in Jordan who are at the University level find it difficult being a good translator and this need to learn to be a good translator is there both among private and public students. Students must be taught certain techniques and skill used in translation and also they should be taught various ways of testing their translation in order to achieve the standards required by the market. In this paper I will review some of the problems that persists students and try to attempt a few practical and viable solutions which can be incorporated in translation courses that are taught in Jordan, so that students benefit from the course and their qualifications are better recognized.
