The aim of this study is to understand research and determine the variation of water quality of drinking water with special references to physico-chemical parameters over a period of 1 year at the Rahmatabad town of Iran. The objective of this study was centred on: 1. Chlorides, sulphates, nitrates, nitrites, etc., 2. To evaluate the water quality in terms of some metal ions like Na, K, etc., 3. To suggest measures for improvement of water quality if deviate on individual parameters, which influence an abundance of calcium carbonate. 4. To investigate chemical parameters such as COD, pH, DO, alkalinity as well as physical factors such as conductivity and temperature.
