Abstract

The charismatic leadership is a sort of leadership that leads to a relationship without any reinforcement or financial rewards. The organisational theorists have drawn little attention to the charismatic leadership, which is one of the contributing and influencing factors that further can be called as the engine of advanced economy. The global economy is likely to encounter deep and fundamental changes, and the organisations as well as productive industries are not exceptions in this regard. The environmental conditions and the competition rules are so cruel, complex and dynamic as well as unsure that the organisations are not able to guarantee their surface structure changings for a long time period, such as changing system methods, structure and technology. Also, they are not able to overcome the delicate, innovative and agile rivals through using few managers or through running some approved projects. The charismatic leader should pave the way for the staff to get employment and creative spirit in order to approach easily and follow the managers’ and leaders’ orders with the aid of target processing and organisation policies. In doing so, it necessitates a phenomena called charismatic leadership. This study has been carried out in the case of library, and the researcher has endeavoured to collect data using the inner and outer researches regarding the content. The study results show the definitions of charismatic leadership and the causes and effects as well as leadership component and categories of charismatic leadership. Some of the management experts have named the 20th century as ‘management’ century and the 21st century as the ‘leadership’ century. In the academic definitions, management is the process of running financial and human resources in planning, organising, resource integration, leading and controlling as effective in order to reach the organisational aims. A number of experts consider leadership as part of the management tasks and some others assume a more board concept of management and define it as ‘the ability to motivate others to amiable effort leading to definite goals’. Individuals make diverse relationships, among which is the leadership. What happens in between is obedience. This problem is attributed to the lack of systematic reflection framework. In today's new world of organisation, one of the most significant and most effective components is management, whose efficient status is determined with the leadership accompanying it. Leadership is one of the fundamental concepts to govern the society, accompanied by society changes as each society and organisation has been established on the basis of it. Following the social aims and attaining to interests without leadership is either not feasible or hard to grasp. Leadership has some multidimensional aspects, of which there has been no common definition. The number of definitions developed for leadership is equal to the number of people trying to define it. In this research, we have attempted to consider charismatic leadership and its characteristics.
