At Soorjeh town, Iran ground water is pumped directly through pipe to the consumer point for drinking purpose. There is no protected water supply in the town. An attempt has been made to evaluate the quality of ground water in the investigation, since it is having surface sewage drains and cess pools around the pumping bore wells, over-flowing waste water drains adjacent to working bore wells are a common site in the town. The physico-chemical parameters were determined for 12 samples of groundwater.
