Social Intelligence in relation to Self-Concept of Secondary School Teachers

In this present study an attempt has been made to investigate the social intelligence in relation to self-concept secondary school teachers. A Sample of 100 Secondary school teachers in Mysore city were selected. Social intelligence scale and self-concept inventory constructed by the researcher. Descriptive survey method was adopted for this study. Mean, Standard Deviation and ‗t‘-test were used for analysis of the data. The result showed that there is no significant difference between male and female secondary school teachers, and no significant difference was found between arts and science teachers of secondary school with respect to their Social Intelligence and Self-Concept. No significant relationship was found between Social Intelligence and Self-Concept of secondary school teachers.
