Application of isoproturon at 0.5 and 0.75 kg/ha reduced population of lamb's quarters [Chenopodium album) and other weeds effectively in isabgul crop. Application of isoproturon 0.5 kg/ha at preemergenca or 0.75 kg/ha at preplan ting was conducive to obtain higher seed yield and this was superior to giving two hand weedings. Seed yield data revealed that application of isoproturon 0.5 kg/ha at preemergence increased Incremental Cost Benefit Ratio (ICBR) up to 1: 14.76 as compared to 1: 5.70 of hand weeding (twice).
