The effect of herbicides niirofen, penoxalin and oxadiazon alone and in combinations as pre-planting, pre-Hpost-emrgenc e and post-planting applications was studied on onion rhizosphere microflora. Herbicide application decreased the population of fungi and actinomycetes and increased the population of bacteria.
