Abstract

A field experiment was conducted for two years in split-split-plot design keeping three weed control methods in main-plots, two cropping systems in sub-plo;s and three fertility levels in sub-sub plots to study their influence on weeds and crop. Significantly highet maize grain yield, maize equivalent yield and lowest weed dry weight and their population wire obtained by inter-cropping system keeping maize population 75,000/ha providing 50 per cent higher than the recommended fertilitiy and using alachlor @ 1.5 kg/ha f jr weed control.
