Studies were conducted in pots as well as fields at Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalya, Palampur during 1987–88 to screen out suitable herbicide for control of Oxalis, latifolia. H.B. & K. Glyphosate(1.0 kg/ha), Oxadiazon(0.75 kg/ha) and DOWCO 433(0.2 kg/ha) were found effective in controlling this weed. These herbicides were also effective in minimising the regeneration of the weed after its kill, ensuring complete control of Oxalis latifolia even under field conditions.
