Field experiments conducted for two years revealed that dry matter of weeds and weed population was significantly lowest with integration of chemical weed control, maize + soybean (1:1) cropping system, 90,000 maize plant population and 50 percent higher than the reccmnended fertility level. However, significantly highest maize grain yield and maize equivalent yield were obtained with integration of chemical weed control, maize + soybean (1:1) cropping system, 75,000 maize population and 50 percent higher fertilization than recommended.
