Herbicidej fluchloralin, pendimeihalin, alachlor and 2, 4-D were tested for weed control in groundunt by varying the time and method of application. Preemergence fluchloralin with soil as earner effectively reduced the number and dry weight of purple nutsedge. PPI of alachlor resulted in higher weed control efficiency and higher pod yields.
