An experiment cm crop-weed competition study was conducted urrder Tainted conditions at the; research farm, G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Hill Campus, R-anichaurl (Tehrf-during k/iarif 1986 and 1988. The count of Oxalis latifolia increased with advance in stage of crop upto 110days. The weed reduced the grain as well as biological yield of rainfed rice by 53.63 and’ and 47.17 per cent, respectivly and weed free period from 0-90 d a-s- improved* the growth and yield attributes of rice significantly.
