The phenological behaviour of Spergula arvensis L., Fumaria parviflora Lam. and Melitotus indica L. was studied in wheat fields. While Sperguta started germinating in early December, Fumaria and Melilotus germinated after irrigation in second fortnight of December. Taokmixture of fluehloralin and 2, 4-D each at 0.5 kg/ha prevented Fumaria to germinate until December and, thereafter did not allow to flower. While Fumaria and Spergula matured earlier, to wheat and shed their seeds, Melilotus matured alongwith wheat and contaminated wheat graina.
