Abstract

A field study conducted during 1987 and 1988 at Hill Campus, G. D. Pant Uhiversity of Agriculture and Technology, Ranichauri, Tehri revealed that application of oxadiazon and oxyfluorfen significantly reduced the number of Oxalis latifolia weed. The highest mean grain yield was recorded with oxadiazon+one hand weeding closely followed by oxadiazon + metolachlor. These were at par with weed free check. Oxadiazon in combination with metolachlor or one hand weeding also increased the plant stand, dry weight, number of grains and grain weight/plant.
