Abstract

Highest yield was obtained when pendimethalin (1.0 kg/ha) plus oxyfluorfen (0.15 kg/ha) was applied as pre-emergence (One day before transplanting) and it increased 77.6 and 41.4 per cent fruit-yield over the weedy check and hand weeding done at 20 and 40 days after transplanting, respectively. Weed control efficacy increased with increasing levels of herbicides.
