Field studies were conducted at Akola during 1986–1988 to find out the effect of plant geometry, genotype and manual weeding on weed control and grain yield in irrigated wheat. The variety NI 5439 recorded significant reduction in density and dry matter of associated weeds consequently significant higher grain yield than significantly lower weed density, weed biomas sowing methods tested.
