Post-emergence application of isoproturon also proved quite effective. Maximum seed yield was obfained in weed free plots followed by hand weeding twice obtained in weed free plots followed by hand weeding twice at 25 + 50 days stage, pendimethalin 1.0 kg + one hand weeding, trifluralin 1.5 kg and pendimethalin 1.5 kg/ha.
