Abstract

The seed dormancy of Trianthema portulacastrum was best broken by mechanical scarification by using seed and sand mixture at 1: 1 ratio for a duration of 45 seconds. It was found that eighth days was the optimum period for testing seed germination of the seeds of Trianthema portulacastrum.
