Field experiments were conducted during winter seasons of 1990–91 and 1991–92 at NRCWeed Science, Jabalpur (M. P.). The combination of tralkoxydim 350 g/ha+2, 4–0 500 g/ha significantly reduced the population and dry weight of weeds at 90 days after sowing (DAS) and consequently increased the grain yield as compared to their individual application alone. Application of oxyfluorfen alone and in combination with 2, 4–0 has shown toxicity to wheat crop and caused considerable reduction in grain yield of wheat.
