Two years' field studies on the effect of tank mixture of isoproturon and clopyralid or fluroxypyr or 2,4–0 conducted during 1990–91 and 1991–92 at NRC-Weed Science, Jabalpur, revealed that tank mixture of these herbicides significantly reduced the population and dry weight of weeds at 90 days after sowing (DAS) and consequently increased the grain yield as compared to their individual application alone. Clopyralid at 150 g/ha+ isoproturon at 750 g/ha has shown best result in reducing weed population and weed dry weight and increasing grain yield.
