Field experiments were conducted at the Research Farm of Department of Agronomy, PAU, Ludhiana during 1994–95 and 1995–96. The field was sandy loam in texture and was under rice-wheat system since last seven years. Experimental results revealed that post-emergence application of dodinafop at 80 and 120 ml/ha and fenoxaprop-p-ethyl at 80 ml/ha provided good control of Phalaris minor and produced grain yield at par with diclofop-methyl 0.90 kg and tralkoxydim 0.35 kg/ha. Application of c1odinafop 120 ml and fenoxaprop-ethyl 80 ml/ha increased the grain yield by 68.7 and 60.4% over control (unweeded) and 34.1 and 29.8% over two hand hocings, respectively.
