Abstract

Pre-emergence application of oxadiazon at 0.6 kg ha−1 followed by farmers' practice (Beushaning and Khelua) or hand weeding provided a broad spectrum weed control throughout the crop season in lowland rice, with a weed control efficiency of 89.6% at harvest. The farmers' practice registered a weed controi efficiency of 38.1%. The highest grain yield (3.52 t ha−1) was recorded with integration of oxadiazon and farmers' practice or hand weeding.
