Field experiment was conducted during winter seasons of 1996–97 and 1997–98 tel assess the effect of clodinafop-propargyl on weeds and wheat yield. Results revealed that Phalaris minor was controlled effectively due to application of clodinafop-propargyl at 50 and 60 g ha−1. Tank mixture of clodinafop-propargyl and isoproturon caused reduction in the density of Chenopodium album and Melilotus alba, but mixing of isoproturon with clodinafoppropargyl at 500 g ha−1 was less effective than at 750 g ha−1. Clodinafop-propargyl at 50 and 60 g ha−1 yielded more than at 40 g ha−1. Grain yield of wheat was increased significantly when clodinafop-propargyl was tank mixed with isoproturon at 750 g ha−1.
