Field experiment was conducted during rainy seasons of 2000 and 2001 to evaluate the efficacy of haloxyfop on soybean and associated weeds. Haloxyfop at 75 and 100 g ha−1 had better weed control efficacy than at 25 and 50 g ha−1. Early application of this herbicide (14 DAS) was more effective than delayed application. Grain yield at 75 and 100 g ha−1 applied at 14 DAS was at par with weed free treatment. Yields due to trifluralin at 1.2 kg ha−1 and alachlor at 2.5 kg ha−1 were similar to that of haloxyfop at 75 and 100 g ha−1 applied 14 DAS.
