Abstract

All the doses of cyhalofop-butyl resulted in significantly lower weed dry weight and higher paddy yield over weedy check during both the years of study. Cyhalofop-butyl 120 g ha−1 being at par with all its higher doses resulted in significantly lower species-wise weed count and total weed dry weight and higher paddy yield attributes and yield as compared to cyhalofop-butyl 90 g ha−1. Application of cyhalofop-butyl at 10, 15 and 20 days after sowing being at par with each other resulted in significantly lower weed dry weight and higher paddy yield attributes and grain yield over its application at 25 DAS. The interaction effects of dose and time of application were found to be non-significant.
