Allelopathic potentials of Palhem'um hysterophorus Linn., an exotic noxious weed was studied on Triticum vulgare var. Narmada 4 and Cicer arietinum var. Ujjain 24. Aqueous extracts of fresh and dry leaves, stem and root were prepared and diluted to various concentrations. Dilutions of the extract caused inhibition being more at higher concentrations. At lower concentration the toxicity decreased. The inhibitory solution from leaf is found to be more toxic than stem and root.
