Abstract

Acute upper gastrointestinal tract bleeding is an emergency medical condition that require rapid replacement with blood and fluid, upper gastrointestinal endoscopy is mandatory for diagnosis and treatment of the possible cause. Laparotomy still the corner stone if the previous lines failed to control bleeding. Tuberculous peritonitis is a possible cause for this upper gastrointestinal bleeding and amalgamated nodules in the peritoneum
