Abstract

The study of farm women was conducted in the Western Tarai region of Himalayas in Uttaratichal state. It was revealed that radio followed by magazine and television emerged as most frequently used media. It may be noted that could in Uttaranchal society, women dominate as reported in past studies. Informal communication played significant role in process of communication. No formal media of communication influences their decision making process.
