Abstract

Aids being a global problem, more awareness can be brought about by providing knowledge at public places like restaurants, hotels, cinema halls, hostels, non government organizations with such action projects. Postgraduate and undergraduate students can take up assignments and projects for developing information Education and Communication (IEC) materials related to HP//AIDS awareness as people specially in rural areas do not even know about this dreaded disease. The materials developed can be used in future for giving awareness to people in public places like cinema hails, hotels, restaurants, cable network and so on. Programmes giving knowledge regarding HIV/AIDS through Bhavai and role play of this kind could also be transmitted on television and cable networks to make masses aware regarding HIV/AIDS.
