Abstract

The farmer oriented eco-friendly, non-toxic, cost effective method of plant protection which includes mechanical, biological and need based chemical measures preferable in combination with botanical bio pesticides which keep pest population below Economic Threshold Level (ETL) known as Integrated Pest Management (IPM) technology. The Cotton growers may have favorable or unfavorable attitude towards IPM technology which is one the main hindrance in disseminating the technology.

Hence, in this context the present study was undertaken. The study reveals that most of the cotton growers had formed favorable attitude towards IPM technology since it was successful to create a favorable attitude among the farming community.
