On the basis of the results the study it may be concluded that majority of the respondents own radio sets since long and use it frequently during evening time for news and information. Radio listening was preferred by the respondents during some new incident and cricket commentary. The study also reveals that television is afast reaching medium among rural population and being preferred for entertainment purposes. Few of the innovative viewers used to watch television for getting information on agriculture and health. It is encouraging to know that a sizable number of respondents utilize radio and television contents in their daily life.
