Abstract

An investigation was undertaken with a view to assess the Communication ’skills development of preschoolers. A total of 50 children in the age group of 3–5 years were selected from rural areas of district Hisar. These children were subjected to age appropriate Vinland Behaviour Scale for assessment of their skills. Comparison of mean of boys to that of girls over the different age groups of 3.0 to 5.0 years. The boys were better than the girls which may be attributed to comparatively better interactions with parents or care givers towards boys. The overall mean values of communication skills after intervention were significantly higher for boys and girls than that they were having before getting the intervention.
