The communication levels were found lacking among Tharu (tribal), which can be attributed to various reasons such as social structure, indigenous cultural and religious practices, remote residential areas etc. There is lack of communication support among Tharus because of this they are not able to know the various development programmes. Government has introduced various schemes for the tribal's and these Tharu tribes are still lacking as compared to other tribes of India.
