Abstract

Women are shouldering almost all the responsibilities with men since the time immemorial. Hill women who are the major contributor in raising the family are deprived of their rights due to insensitivity of the male dominated society towards many of their health problems. Hill women, due to lack of self realization towards their own problems are silent sufferers. Thus, the conditions of this region can only improve if hill women are made aware about their own well being and development. The present study was one such effort to make the hill women aware about the ill effects of indoor air pollution with the help of low cost teaching aids.
