There was significant gain in knowledge among the respondents. It implies that media mix had helped the rural women to gain and enrich their knowledge regarding balanced diet at the time of pregnancy. Such media mix packages should be used to impart knowledge to rural women. Thus, media mix consisting of Booklet plus Power point presentation and Puppet show plus Recorded message through mobile phone should be promoted to impart nutrition education. Also, mobile should be publicized as a media for knowledge transfer along with it's other uses like talking to friends and relatives, clicking photographs etc. At the same time, to bring novelty in the age old traditional media like that of puppet play, a Compact disc should be made of the puppet play and then shown to the audience through the use of computers.
