The Indian dairy industry establishes off-farm activities of paramount importance providing vast opportunities for gainful employment and income to weaker section of society. Young individuals, like others, have certain basic interests, urges and motives, attitudes and aspirations. Youths are growing & so are their attitudes, aspirations, interests and needs. If their attitudes are recognised since the very beginning and they are helped and guided to work in intended direction it would result in their proper physical, social and economic development. The study shows that all the variables included under study exhibited positive and significant association with the attitude towards the artificial insemination programme. The village wise regression analysis has also confirmed that age and occupations were the most important variable affecting the attitude towards the artificial insemination programme.
